VNPT Announces Official Contact Numbers to Prevent Scams

The Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) has released a list of official phone numbers it uses when contacting customers. The move aims to help users identify legitimate calls and avoid falling victim to increasingly sophisticated scam attempts.

The official numbers displayed on customers’ phones include:

0888 001 091: Mobile service support
0888 000 666: Internet and MyTV support
0918 001 260: IT and digital transformation support
0911 001 091: VNPT package and service consultation

In addition, customers can directly call VNPT’s toll-free hotlines depending on their needs:

1800 1091: VinaPhone mobile service support
1800 1166: Internet, MyTV, and landline support
1800 1260: IT and digital transformation support

VNPT stressed a strict principle: all official calls from the company will never request OTP codes, passwords, or bank account information. This is a key safeguard against impersonation and fraud.

By standardizing and publicizing its contact numbers, VNPT reinforces transparency while ensuring customer confidence, safety, and convenience when using its telecom, IT, and digital TV services.
