Initial investigation identified Tùng as the suspect who used a gun to kill three members of the same family in Đăk Nhau Commune, Đồng Nai. Upon arrest, Tùng confessed to his crime. Authorities are continuing to interrogate the suspect and expand the investigation.
Earlier, at around 7 a.m. on October 3, residents discovered three victims dead at Thiên Hạnh Agricultural Trading Agency in Hamlet 6, Đăk Nhau Commune. The victims were Đỗ Duy T. (47, the homeowner), Chu Hồng H. (48, his wife), and Đỗ Tiến Th. (11, their grandson).
Immediately after receiving the report, Major General Nguyễn Đức Hải, Director of Đồng Nai Provincial Police, directed two deputy directors to visit the scene and coordinate with the Criminal Investigation Department and the Institute of Criminal Science to conduct a full investigation.
Forensic examination revealed that all three victims died from gunshot wounds to the head. Footage retrieved from the family’s security cameras showed a man wearing a helmet, fully covered face, and a mask entering the victims’ yard around the time of the incident.
Thanks to close coordination among investigative units, police arrested the suspect within days, swiftly solving a triple homicide that had shocked the local community.
